I’m so happy we booked Mike for our 2018 Chicago wedding! He was so fun and easy to work with. On our big day, he was perfect. The playlist and the dance floor lighting created the party atmosphere we were looking for. Our dance floor was packed all night, until the very last song. And, several guests told us they’ve never danced so much at a wedding. Many thanks to Mike for keeping the party going and giving us some of our favorite memories from our wedding day.

My husband and I had *very specific* music ideas for our wedding, and so we were on the lookout for someone who could accommodate us and our weird tastes. Mike is that person! From the first phone call, to the last dance, Mike was professional, fun, and very receptive. His online planning tools make building your playlist so easy. We wanted lots of specific songs played at various points in the night, and it all worked so perfectly. Mike helped me plan a big surprise for my husband, too, when Staley da Bear mascot showed up to the reception. It went off without a hitch. All throughout the night, Mike guided the party with dance songs and slow songs, with just the right amount of mic-use, and was *spot on* with all the name pronunciations, which is a feat with both of our families! Mike took the time to go over each person's name over the phone before the day-of, and it showed. I was so impressed. Mike is friendly and makes you feel special and listened-to from the moment you meet him, until you exit the reception. What a treat! Hire him!

Mike at Amplified events was absolutely incredible! From day one, Mike was so helpful. He touched base, made sure he got to know us, and helped when we were forgetting certain details. My fiance (now husband) and I did all of our wedding planning on our own, so having someone so knowledgeable and experienced to DJ our wedding was very helpful! The day of, he played the PERFECT music for the whole night. He asked ahead of time for some song in categories of "absolutely play", "do NOT play", and "it would be nice if played but also ok if not". He thought of things I otherwise would not have and our wedding day was incredible because of it! My family and friends also raved about Amplified Events!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We are so happy to have chosen Amplified Events for our wedding DJ. Music is very important to my wife and I so picking a DJ was an important step in our wedding planning. Mike worked with us to find out exactly how we wanted our day to go. He did a wonderful job with music and running sound at our outdoor ceremony. As far as the reception goes everything was perfect. Announcements and toasts all went great. Once the dance floor opened it was never empty the rest of the night. Mike took our list of requests and did what he does best and read the crowd and made sure our night was magical. Two years later and we still get compliments and comments about how much fun our wedding was. I can't recommend Amplified Events enough.

Easily the best money we spent on the entire wedding/reception process - worth every penny. We didn't know what we were doing when it came to the reception. Our DJ walked us through the process, got us thinking about what we wanted and didn't want and helped us create a music and event list that we loved. We barely had to do anything and Amplified Events tailored the music to our tastes and personally AND made our reception way more fun than we ever imagined.

Mike Kane is the best! We hired him to DJ our wedding reception, and we couldn't have asked for better service. He was well-organized, responsive, and accommodating. Every time we spoke with Mike, we came away feeling confident that everything was under control (which is priceless while planning a wedding). When our big day came around, Mike kept everything moving along right on schedule and kept people on the dance floor until it was time to shut down the party. We would highly recommend him!

Michael Kane was the DJ at our wedding in Aug. 2015. He made the planning so easy and was flexible to work with. The sound was fantastic. He had great lighting features too. His game idea was a big hit: raised our shoes for who did what. All of our guests commented how much they enjoyed the DJ. Overall we were very pleased with Michael Kane and are so happy we choose him!

Amplified events is amazing! Mike does a wonderful job at listening and making sure you walk away happy. We had so much fun at our wedding and got so many compliments. I can’t recommend them enough!
